About The Baptism...

Baptismal FORMS:

No matter what, that is in Jesus first. "One Lord, one faith, one baptism," (Ephesians 4:5)

We often hear in the middle Pentecostal mainly that baptism should be done by immersion, by immersion only and solely in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Other forms of baptism, such as pouring, or sprinkling are abhorred and considered unbiblical.Pedobaptism is heresy condemned to Hades by some advocates of immersion.Consider, however, baptism, what is its form and its correct meaning. What does the Bible tell us?

For all those who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:27

Know ye not that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Romans 6:3

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay with them for a few days. Acts 10:48

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1 Corinthians 1:13

But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, were baptized, both men and women. Acts 8:12

The word "baptism" means IMMERSION. Great! So most Christians argue as a baptismal immersion only valid, others come to say that radicalism must be in running water of a river. Dam or swimming pool is of the devil.

Are the baptismal waters more powerful than washing by the Word? It is the symbolism of baptism larger than its meaning? We are baptized in the waters, or in Christ, which in turn brings me to externalize this miracle happened inside me?

Beloved, we perhaps do not take the decision to be baptized in the waters just because there was a wash for the Word of God in us and an awareness of immersion in the blood of the Lamb? That baptism was the thief on the cross unless the immersion in the blood is still hot, gushing of the Lamb of God on the cross next?Is he the amount of water greater than dying in Christ and raise Him?

How will our brothers who do not even have water to drink, let alone a baptismal pool?

The discussion is childish if we look at how to perform this symbolism. The same question becomes spirit and life, if we look for its meaning. We are immersed, but in baptism means immersion, but immersed in Christ, after that, the symbolism with plenty of water, little water, swimming pools or dams, is only symbolic.

We are baptized to fulfill God's righteousness or because we have already been achieved by it?

And I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.Matthew 3:11

But Jesus answered and said unto him, Let for now, for us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him.Matthew 3:15

Jesus is the doer of God's righteousness, we are PARTICIPANTS this justice, but he was the doer of the same!

ON BEHALF OF WHO SHOULD BAPTIZE?

Now that's a question child! Some say: Only in Jesus' name! Others say: In the name of the Trinity!Did the Father and the Holy Spirit will become sullen in a corner if the baptism is done in the name of which has been immersed in his person, namely Jesus?

Several texts in the NT speak of baptism in Jesus' name, as well as the name of the Trinity! It is the Father who gave testimony to the Son? It is the Spirit who glorifies the name of Christ? No separation in the Trinity?Oh brother, but Jesus himself said it was in the name of the Trinity. Yes! As He also said that the Son did not know when he would return ... He will not know until today? The Father has confided that the Son does not know? There are omissions in the Trinity, or Christ was teaching that Jesus, Son of David, do not say that not for us to know, but Jesus, Son of the Most High God always knew?

Baptism with little water, much water is in Jesus! In the name of the Trinity, in Jesus' name ... It's happened!

Peace to all!

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken. John 15:3

Jesus said to him: He that is washed needs not only to wash his feet, but is clean every whit. Now ye are clean, but not all. John 13:10
